MERRY CHRISTMAS
This is my FIRST Christmas......and I already felt so pampered as I can go out with Mum & Dad with all the shopping sprees.....heehee

My FIRST Birthday....1st May 2008
Mummy has lately been cracking her head on my birthday celebration.
So, today,....she has finally decided on my birthday bash!
Will be celebrating my birthday few days in advance.....it will be held on 26th April 2008 (Sat) at TungLok restaurant.....likely will be Dim Sum buffet lunch.
And, since Dad & Mum will be bringing Marvic gor-gor to New Zealand for his birthday, thus she has decided to bring me and gor-gor to HongKong's Disneyland for my birthday!
Today, she has book the flight to HK on 30th April. I will be celebrating my birthday (1st May 2008) at HK DISNEYLAND!!!! And will be back on the 3rd May 2008!

House = SOLD!
Mummy ~ Oh yah,..latest updates.
We have recently sold our current 5-room flat in SK. Expected the first appointment will be sometime on 3rd week of Dec.....it depends on how soon the buyer submits the *Exercise to Purchase*, as now he is pending for his loan approval though.
Well, he has placed a deposit of $1000 and if in any event that he did not go ahead to exercise the purchase, then we will forfeit the deposit....*grin*
Alot of people commented that we had a good deal for my house, which we closed the deal at a highest price in SK......and after I checked the HDB website for the latest resale transactions, and YES, is HIGHEST!!!!
hmm.....I can say that we are having a mixed feeling about selling the house.....abit reluctant and can't bear to move as the unit is real exclusive and nice environment,....but, the price is too good to give it a miss!!!!!
Anyway, we will still proceed and go ahead with the sale and will temporary be moving in to stay with Max's parents while waiting for the market to soften down before we make our next property purchse...... ;)
For all those out there.......I will be having a garage sales for all my household stuffs, furnitures, electrical appliances, etc etc......will upload the details in this blog once decided on the sales..... :D

Heart Scan postpone AGAIN.......
Just as Mum & Dad are looking forward to my heart scan on the 14th Nov (which was postponed from 26th Oct), then I'm down with cough and running nose!!!!

My Weight....My Progress
I was down with very bad flu & cough for the past 1 week, that explains why my heart-scan has to be re-scheduled till mid Nov07.
It was so bad that mummy has to rush me to Mt. A and have to see my PD, Dr Lim, of Kinders Clinic.
When we reach the clinic, the nurse put me on the weight scale for a check on my weight....wooo, I'm now at 7.2kg at the tender age of 5.75mths old! That's not too bad as I started off with low weight birth.
As mummy has started to let me go on semi-solid when i was 4.5mths old,...she started with some cereals....(but I don't like it!) I'd fuss alot when mum or maid gives me the cereal.
Lately, when I hit 5.5mths old,....mum has decided to cook some baby porriage for me to try it out!
WOW! YUMMY! I really enjoyed and love the porriage so much that I can finish 1.5 bowls of feed! So, now I'm on 2 feeds per day on porriage and the in-between are the milk!
I shall report here again on my weight gain on mid Nov07.

Ventricular Septal Defect
Ventricular Septal Defect
A ventricular septal defect (VSD) is a hole in the part of the septum that separates the ventricles, the lower chambers of the heart. The hole allows oxygen-rich blood to flow from the left ventricle across the heart into the right ventricle instead of flowing up into the aorta and out to the body as it should.

Figure A shows the normal structure and blood flow in the interior of the heart. Figure B shows two common locations for a ventricular septal defect. The defect allows oxygen-rich blood from the left ventricle to mix with oxygen-poor blood in the right ventricle.
An infant born with a VSD may have a single hole or more than one hole in the wall that separates the two ventricles. The defect also may occur by itself or with other congenital heart defects.
Doctors classify VSDs based on the:
Size of the defect.
Location of the defect.
Number of defects.
Presence or absence of a ventricular septal aneurysm—a thin flap of tissue on the septum. This tissue is harmless and can help a VSD close on its own.
VSDs can be small or large. A small VSD doesn’t cause problems and may often close on its own. Because small VSDs allow only a small amount of blood to flow between the ventricles, they’re sometimes called restrictive VSDs. Small VSDs don’t cause any symptoms.
Medium VSDs are less likely than small defects to close on their own. They may require surgery to close and may cause symptoms during infancy and childhood.

As my heart has a hole on the right side, which is the oxygen rich-blood back-flow to the left side.

Updates
Hi hi all Friends, Aunties, Uncles....and passerbys
Sorry that lately there's no updates in my blog.
Pls pardon us, as Mum is busy with her daily schedules and her weekends is always away with Daddy & Brother Marvic.
They're going away again this weekend, to Pulau Rawa.....with Aunty Juli & Uncle Ian.
I'm going to stay at Grandma's house with maid......
It's ok,.....when I'm older, I will also get to travel around with Dad & Mum.
Do bear with us for the time being and I shall pester Mum tp update my blog soon.

3rd Month Vaccin
2nd August 2007.
Mum brought me for my 3rd Month vaccin. (5-in-1)
Well, mum was worried of me getting fever from the jab, thus gave me 1 dose of the paracetomol b4 we head to the clinic.
Today, I weigh at 5.5kg and Dr says I'm in good growth.
Everything's still fine and I still feel ok. But, developed fever in the night!!!!
Maid called Mum and told her my temp and I was immediately given another dose of paracetomol. Good thing, the fever subsides on the next day.

Heart Screen
Heart Screen on 29th June 2007.
Daddy took some hours off from work and drove us to the clinic.
After a long 2 hours wait at the clinic, it's finally my turn.
Mum carried me and went to the room.
Dr Anthony starts to open the envelope (from Dr Lim) and follow to check on me. Then, he told mum to put on the bed next to the machine. Mum and Dad was beside me and there Dr Anthony starts the heart scan.
After about 15mins, finally can get the result.
ya, there's a small hole on my heart (right side). The hole is about 3mm and Dr Anthony assures Mum & Dad that this is not dangerous and the hole should close up by itself within few months time. However, my next heart scan has been scheduled on Oct.
Mum is worried sick and been praying that the hole closes by itself by the next scan.

As usual, mum went to register and maid was carrying me while waiting for my turn. Shortly after, the nurse asked mum to put me down on the weighing machine and yes, I'm now weigh at 4.4kg. That's a good weight gain.
Not too long after that, Dr Lim called us to go into the room. As usual, he does check on me.....making sure i'm not down with jaundice and started listening to my lung, etc etc. After some hearing, he paused and listen with full concentration!
Mum felt unease and worried.
Waited for about 5-10mins, then Dr Lim confirmed and started talking to mum.
He suspect there might have a small hole on my heart cos there's some noise and leaking sound. He refered me to a heart specialist and recommended to go and do a heart screen.
Mum was worried sick!!! Immediately, she picked up her mobile and called daddy, who was overseas. And mum cried!!!!

My Progress
Went for check-up at Dr Lim's clinic (Kinders Clinic) on 1st June (Exactly 1 month after my arrival).
First, Mum brought me to have my hearing test done (didn't do it in hospital as I was too small, and result will not be accurate, thus Dr Lim scheduled it when I'm 1 month old).
RESULT : PASS (Both Left & Right ear) ~ HURRAY!!!
OK, Next, will be going up to Dr Lim's clinic,...and had my weight taken.
Birth : 2.53kg
1 month : 4kg
RESULT : Good growth!!!
My next appointment to go Dr Lim's clinic will be end of June.
Watch out for my updates.

Mrs VAIN
Very very FAST....I'll be 1mth old in 2days time!!!! 31st May 2007.
My VAIN Mummy has been rather busy lately making all arrangements for my party...eg. ordering of cakes, buffet, etc etc.
But, most importantly,...Mummy also busy busy with the following :
1. Mani+Pedi (Appt made on 30th May)
2. Slimming session (Appt made on 29th May)
3. Facial & Eyebrow Trimming (Appt made on 29th May)
4. Hairdo (Appt made on 29th May - But might not be going cos she wants to do in Shanghai when she's there from 6th-10th June)
See......I told you all from the Title....right? It's supposed to be my party on 31st May,......but, it looks like now it's Mummy's party!!!! MRS VAIN!!!! hahahahaha :D :D :D

Milestone
Me born at 2.53kg, but weight was at 2.44kg when discharged.
Mummy brog me back to Dr Lim's clinic for a follow-up check on my 2nd week, and I am now weighs at 2.756kg @ 2wks old.
Well, my next reveiw will be 1mth old, on 1st June 07. Shall update my weight gain then.

SUNFLOWERS
This is soooooo coincidence!!!!
Mummy receives all SUNFLOWERS during her stay at the hospital.....hmm, is this the current trend?....hahahaha :D
Discharge Today ~ 8th May 2007
Today, I'm going home with Daddy & Mummy!!!
See, I'm all ready to go home and waitig waiting for Dad & Mum.
The nurse is briefing Mummy on my feeds and feeding time,....and since it's almost time,....Mummy has decided to wait for awhile and complete my feeds before heading home.
I am sucking and drinking well,.....and so blessed and happy that finally Mummy gets to carry me!
