Mrs VAIN

Very very FAST....I'll be 1mth old in 2days time!!!! 31st May 2007.

My VAIN Mummy has been rather busy lately making all arrangements for my party...eg. ordering of cakes, buffet, etc etc.

But, most importantly,...Mummy also busy busy with the following :

1. Mani+Pedi (Appt made on 30th May)
2. Slimming session (Appt made on 29th May)
3. Facial & Eyebrow Trimming (Appt made on 29th May)
4. Hairdo (Appt made on 29th May - But might not be going cos she wants to do in Shanghai when she's there from 6th-10th June)

See......I told you all from the Title....right? It's supposed to be my party on 31st May,......but, it looks like now it's Mummy's party!!!! MRS VAIN!!!! hahahahaha :D :D :D

Length.....Between US

See our length......I will be about the same length as Marvic gor-gor when I'm 2 yrs old..... ;)

Brotherly LOVE

Daddy puts me with Marvic gor-gor and Mummy quickly grab the camera to take a snap of us!!!! See us,.....side-by-side.

Milestone

Me born at 2.53kg, but weight was at 2.44kg when discharged.
Mummy brog me back to Dr Lim's clinic for a follow-up check on my 2nd week, and I am now weighs at 2.756kg @ 2wks old.

Well, my next reveiw will be 1mth old, on 1st June 07. Shall update my weight gain then.

Discharge Today ~ 8th May 2007

Today, I'm going home with Daddy & Mummy!!!
See, I'm all ready to go home and waitig waiting for Dad & Mum.

The nurse is briefing Mummy on my feeds and feeding time,....and since it's almost time,....Mummy has decided to wait for awhile and complete my feeds before heading home.

I am sucking and drinking well,.....and so blessed and happy that finally Mummy gets to carry me!

My stay in NICU

This is my *BED* in the NICU at Mount Alvernia Hospital......I'm having a slight jaundice, thus has to be on the photo-therapy.

Alot of ppl comments that I look like Mummy,...but now, I'm oledi 14days old and granny started to comment that my look has changed and i looked like Marvic gor-gor.

Well, I shall ask Mum to take more pix and post here for all of you!

Progress

Today, 5th May 07, Mummy has discharged from hospital, but I still need to stay in for at least another 4more days.

Dr Lim has done another X-Ray for me and has confirmed that the air pockets in my left lung has been cleared and I do not need to have the oxygen anymore. I am now 100% on my own.

PHEW!!! That's a great relief for Mum & Dad.

Today, Dr Lim has increased my feeds till 20ml, and will increase to 30ml by tomorrow. He has told Mum that he targets to increase my feeds till ard 50-60ml before I can be discharged and he estimates that to be sometime mid next week.

I shall keep all of you updated and shall post my most handsome pix here on the day I discharge.

Feedings today

Today Dr Lim started the milk feeds on me. Started with 5ml of Enfaclac, while Mummy trying to express out the BM.

I am doing fine and sucks well. This is a good sign....cos I know how to suckle and swallows.

Hope to increase my feeds to 10ml later and looking at discahrge to go home with Mummy over the wkends.
